- Data: Fine Error Sensor (IUE optical monitor)
[FES ]
- Reference: Clavel, J. et al., 1991, ApJ, 366, 64
[Abstract].
- Format of Data:
- Column 1: JD - 2440000
- Column 2: Flux: continuum in units of
10-15 ergs s-1 cm-2 Å-1
and lines in units of
10-13 ergs s-1 cm-2
- Column 3: Uncertainty in flux, same units
- Additional Notes: The data from Tables 2, 3, and 4 of
Clavel et al. are not in the same units. The files
labeled "time-averaged" give the weighted averaged flux for
all the measurements made during a single IUE shift
(usually spanning no more than 4 hours). The time-averaged light
curves were used in the time-series analysis.
UV light curves from IUE/HST campaign in 1993
- Data:
- Reference: Korista K.T. et al., 1995, ApJS, 97, 285
[Abstract]
- Format of Data:
- Column 1: JD - 2400000
- Column 2: Flux: continuum in
10-14 ergs s-1 cm-2 Å-1
and lines
10-14 ergs s-1 cm-2
- Column 3: Uncertainty in flux, same units
- Additional Notes: SWP data are from the IUE satellite, FOS from
the HST. The combined light curves have IUE data before JD 2449097
and FOS data thereafter. These data are tabulated in the Korista
et al. paper as follows: The FOS continua in Table 12; the combined
SWP and FOS data in Tables 12 and 16; The FOS data for Ly alpha,
C III] and C IV in Table 13; The SWP data for Ly alpha and C IV in
Table 17; and the He II, N V, and Si IV FOS data in Table 14.
Original optical continuum and Hbeta light curves (1988 - 2001)
- Data: Optical continuum (5100 Å) and Hbeta light
curves from Papers II, III, VII, VIII, XV, and XVI.

Paper XV: Peterson et al. 1999, ApJ, 510, 659

Paper XV: Peterson et al. 2002, ApJ, in press
[Abstract];
- Format of Data:
- Column 1: JD - 2400000
- Column 2: Flux: continuum in units of
10-15 ergs s-1 cm-2 Å-1
and lines in units of
10-13 ergs s-1 cm-2
- Column 3: Uncertainty in flux, same units
- Additional Notes: The original light curves from Paper II
(Peterson et al. 1991)
were revised and published in an Appendix to Paper III
(Peterson et al. 1992) as Table 12.
It is the revised data that are given here. The remaining data
are from Table 8 in Paper III (Peterson et al. 1992),
Table 5 in Paper VII (Peterson et al. 1994),
Table 21 of Paper VIII (Korista et al. 1995),
Table 4 of Paper XV (Peterson et al. 1999), and
Table 5 of Paper XVI (Peterson et al. 2002).
The narrow line component has not been removed from the
line flux, and the continuum measurements have not
been corrected for starlight contamination.
Optical emission-line light curves (1988 - 1989)
- Data: Optical emission-line light curves from Paper IV
(Dietrich et al. 1993).
- References: Dietrich, M., et al. 1993, ApJ, 408, 416
[Abstract]
- Format of Data:
- Column 1: JD - 2400000
- Column 2: Flux in units of
10-14 ergs s-1 cm-2
- Column 3: Uncertainty in flux, same units
- Additional Notes:
The narrow-line components have not been removed.
Small blue bump light curve (1988 - 1989)
- Data: Small blue bump (Balmer continuum and Fe II emission)
light curves from (Maoz et al. 1993).
- References: Maoz, D., et al. 1993, ApJ, 404, 576
[Abstract]
- Format of Data:
- Column 1: JD - 2400000
- Column 2: Flux in units of
10-13 ergs s-1 cm-2
- Column 3: Uncertainty in flux, same units
Revised optical continuum and Hbeta light curves (1988-93)
- Data: Selected high-quality data from the 1989-93 data
base, recalibrated and remeasured by Wanders and Peterson.
- Reference: Wanders, I., Peterson, B.M., 1996, ApJ, 466, 174
[Abstract]
- Format of Data:
- Column 1: JD - 2400000
- Column 2: Flux: continuum in units of
10-14 ergs s-1 cm-2 Å-1
and lines in units of
10-14 ergs s-1 cm-2
- Column 3: Uncertainty in flux, same units
- Additional Notes: The H beta light curve has been corrected
for the missing factor 2 in the paper, cf the
erratum.
The underlying stellar contribution from the galaxy has been
subtracted from the continuum data, and the narrow-line
contribution has been subtracted from the H beta data.
