The International AGN Watch

Current Project Status (updated 2 August 2002)

The International AGN Watch has completed all of its projects, including the final installment on a 13-year study of variability of the optical spectrum of NGC 5548.

We thank everyone who has contributed to the many AGN Watch projects over the past 14 years.

NGC 5548 Optical Monitoring

We have now completed 13 years of ground-based monitoring, and the final paper in this series has been accepted for publication in ApJ. The data are available on this site and the paper will appear on astro-ph within the week.

Multiwavelength Monitoring of Akn 564

We have undertaken a large multiwavelength monitoring program on the narrow-line Seyfert 1 galaxy Akn 564. This program is now complete and the papers have been published. Most of the data are now available on this website.

NGC 4051 X-Ray/Optical Monitoring

During 1996-97, we undertook a program of joint RXTE (Ian McHardy, PI) and ground-based optical monitoring of the narrow-line Seyfert 1 galaxy NGC 4051. This project is now complete and the results have been published. The data are available on this site.

Mrk 279

A paper by Maria Santos-Lleó et al. describing Infrared Space Observatory (ISO) and supporting ground-based optical observations of Mrk 279 has now been published. The optical data are available on this site.
