Animated Architecture

Sketches on Living/Animated Architecture Most of the images and animations below were developped in the context of working on Necessary Beauty, a collaboration with the Bebe Miller Company. Sometime since an earlier collaboration when we read The Poetics of Space by Gaston Bachelard, the idea of living environment became most important in developing projections for the live performance. In Necessary Beauty we explored ideas of animating passage of time and change of lighting, erasing the border and merging the spaces of Interior and Exterior.
