Simple Props and Cameras

1. Proposal:

Develop a simple capture scenario for one or more objects that move and rotate. Plan to capture camera movement. Describe objects (use sketches), props that physically represent them (use photos), tentative motion and 2- 5 motion sequence variations. Present a word document, html page or powerpoint to class during the Proposal review session on 01/26/18. Submit the proposal documents and project files toY:\Courses\2017-2018\AC7102_Vita_SP_2018\Project1 using your or your Group name.

2. Capture session:

1. Bring one or more props.
2. Attach markers to props.
3. Using Blade 2, Motionbuilder and the mocap system capture the data.
4. Transfer the data to the class folder.

3. Post production, in Motionbuilder:

1. Edit the data using Filters (Peak Removal and Butterworth) if necessary.
2. Using animation layers add variation to the movement of props and cameras.
3. Parent imported models or Motionbuilder primitives to the virtual bones.
4. EACH team member must prepare a total of 3 versions of prop and camera movement. Save as separate Motionbuilder files in Y:\Courses\2017-2018\AC7102_Vita_SP_2018\Project 1 in a folder with your group name. Each file should have a team member's name and version number, ie Vita_2.fbx. Each team member must present one version of their work in class on the due date.
