| Collaboration is an exciting tool to explore territory that is hard to penetrate alone. While Kareen was making a piece about her family, I was making a piece about her creating memory. We chose to give each other freedom with our respecitve tasks, allowing the big picture to weave from the fragments of our efforts. While I fully expected to see a Frankenstein of a collage, somehow, due to some incredible luck the final work became a presence of its own. I am very greatful to Kareen for the opportunity to experience this presence, and to be its part. | |
