Information
I am recent graduate of the Ohio State University with a PhD in mathematics under the supervision of John Harper. Next year I will begin teaching as an Instructor in the math department at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. My main research interests are algebraic topology and homotopy theory. More specifically, I am interested in Goodwillie's calculus of homotopy functors: including structure inherent to the derivatives of functors, and applications of the theory to categories of structured ring spectra. I completed my undergraduate degree in Mathematics at Ohio State University in 2015. I am a former organizer of the student homotopy seminar at OSU. The seminar website can be found here. In my spare time I enjoy playing the guitar, listening to new and eclectic music, cooking and traveling. |
