Elliptio lugubris (Lea, 1838)

Little Ogeechee River, Washington Co., GA - 110 mm

Type locality: Hopeton, near Darien, Georgia.

Range: Altamaha and Ogeechee River systems. Reported from the Savannah River system.

Remarks: I suspect that lugubris is but a variant of icterina.
