Introductory Physics 261: Dynamics of Particles and Waves
Introduction to Classical Mechanics by D. Morin (available as an ebook)
Basic Training in Mathematics by Shankar (first few chapters available as Google preview)

    Meeting Schedule:
    Lecture:MWF in room 1005 @11.30
    Small groups: Thursday 1094 @ one of 10.30/11.30/12.30/1.30
    Exceptions: no class on Veteran's Day (F 11 Nov)

    *Problem Sets

    Homework is due by 5pm Friday in the box on top of the mailboxes in SM 1011. Late homework policy: hand it in (in the box) on Monday morning for 90% credit, or up to one week late for 80% credit. And we will drop your lowest homework score, so you can afford to miss one assignment w/o penalty.
