Welcome
I am a Professor at the Department of Mathematics of the Ohio State University.
I am currently serving as Director of Mathematics Research Institute, which supports various research initiatives at our department.
I’m a mathematician specializing in models of spatial ecology and biological dynamics. I use PDEs and interface methods to understand how populations invade, compete, and adapt in changing environments.
I am on the editorial board of
(since 2025) Communications in Partial Differential Equations (CPDE)
(since 2025) SIAM Journal on Applied Mathematics (SIAP)
(since 2025) SIAM Journal on the Life Sciences (SIALS)
(since 2022) Journal of Mathematical Biology (JOMB)
(since 2020) Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems Series B (DCDS-B) (managing editor)
(since 2019) Mathematics in Applied Sciences and Engineering (MASE)
