About Me

I am a Ross Assistant Professor at Ohio State University. I work in ergodic theory and number theory, particularly using geodesic flows on modular surfaces to describe various continued fraction maps. I am also the Director of Buckeye Aha! Math Moments outreach group. As a graduate student at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, I co-founded and directed the Summer Illinois Math Camp. I was the outreach coordinator of the Illinois Geometry Lab from Spring 2015-Spring 2018.

In Spring 2022, I am teaching Elementary Number Theory. The syllabus is available [here].

I also teaching a new Recreation Mathematics and Outreach service learning course with Monica Delgado Carrillo, as part of a grant from University Office of Service Learning. The syllabus is available here . Changes to the syllabus and course schedule will be made based outreach activity schedules and guest speaker availability.

Both courses use Carmen for the course material and gradebook.

I will start a Visiting Assistant Professor position at Davidson in Fall 2022.
