Accommodations

For 2012--CHECK-IN will be at Lane Avenue Residence Hall 328 W. Lane Avenue, Columbus OH 43201.

Lane Avenue Residence Hall will open at 7:00 a.m. Sunday, June 17 and remain open 24 hours a day until 3pm Friday June 22 of the Symposium. If you wait until check-in to pay your dorm bill, the dorm does accept MasterCard/Visa. You will be expected to pay the post-May 15 rate of $62/night for single, $30/night for regular double and $29/night for student double.

If you would like accommodations on Saturday night, June 16, call The Blackwell. Identify yourself as being with the Molspect Conference to get the OSU discount.

NOTE: If you stay at a hotel on Olentangy River Road, there is a city bus (COTA route #7, Whittier (southbound)) that runs along Olentangy River Road, down Neil Avenue, through the OSU campus and has a stop at Woodruff Avenue and College Road. This is just in front of the Chemistry complex. The schedule says you can catch it on the West side of Olentangy River Road at 8:03am and it will get you to campus by 8:18am. The schedule says this bus runs about every 20-30 minutes. The one-way fare is $2.00. You can purchase Day Passes (unlimited trips) for $4.50 (cash, the driver carries no change) on the bus. This pass can then be used on any local COTA bus route.

• Holiday Inn Express and Suites, 3045 Olentangy River Rd., (614)447-1212, (614)759-2468 fax ($102.00+tax check to make sure that this rate is refundable) You must speak with "in-house reservations" and identify yourself as visiting the OSU campus on business. Price includes hot breakfast and free high speed internet.
• The Blackwell - LOCATED ON CAMPUS: the corner of Tuttle Park Place and Woodruff Avenue; (866)247-4003; This is Ohio State's official hotel. (OSU rate $133+16.75%tax). Airport shuttle is available; NOTE: Please call ahead 48 hours if you would like airport shuttle service or make arrangements at the time you make your reservation; Be sure to mention you are with the "Molspect Conference" to get the OSU rate. We do have a small block of rooms reserved for the week for those who prefer the Blackwell. This block of rooms will be released after 5/20/12. Valet parking is available.
• Hilton Garden 3232 Olentangy River Road, 614-263-7200, OSU rate ~$115 plus tax. When reserving the room, mention you are visiting Ohio State University for a Conference in order to receive the OSU rate. King bed or 2 queen beds, in-door pool.
• Varsity Inn , 3246 Olentangy River Rd., (614)267-4646 (King or Double OSU room rate varies by day: Saturday June 16 - $96 plus tax, Sunday June 17 - Thursday June 21 $59/night plus tax, Friday June 22 - $103 plus tax. When reserving the room, mention you are visiting the OSU campus in order to receive the OSU rate. This rate is not guaranteed.
• Fairfield Inn and Suites, 3031 Olentangy River Rd., (614)267-1111 (OSU rate available for $104 plus tax) 2 double beds or king, breakfast included. When reserving the room, mention you are visiting the OSU campus in order to receive the OSU rate.
• Red Roof Inn State Route 315 & Ackerman Rd., (614)267-9941 Student discount available for ~$65 + tax. When making the reservation, mention you are a student attending an OSU conference in order to receive the student rate.
