| Description: | # risers in Pit Center. Music stands/Lts in upper stage right loft. gathering of 3 tpts, 2 horns, 3 tbns, 1 euph, 1 tuba (only chair) and 1 percussionist (drum and a few small traps). Everyone except tuba will stand (total of 11 stands and 1 chair). I imagine they made need stand lights as well? Single Reed Consort – in the pit area, stage right, but angled slightly toward the center of the hall, on platforms (with chair foot railings to keep everyone in place!); 2 flutes, 4 clarinets, 4 saxophones, and a percussionist (on floor – doesn’t need to be on the platform); a total of 10 chairs (5 in front row, 5 in back) and 10 stands; stand lights? Double Reed Consort – on stage, stage left, 2 oboes, English Horn, 4 bassoons, Lute, Double Bass, and 1 percussionist; this really is just a “setup” issue on stage which we can take care of ourselves. The lute player, Sean Ferguson from the Music and Dance Library, may bring a small guitar amp which will need power. Large Consort – this will be everyone not in a smaller consort sitting within the Symphonic Band chair and stand setup. no piano |
