Here are 8 events (6 A GeV) from Tape 41 File 2. I ran with switches found in the LBL CVS distribution area, and with code as it stood on 6 June 1997.

Shown are tables for the 1d and 2d hitfinders followed by the JTF and BTF tracking codes. Given are the number of hits found (does not depend on tracker obviously), the % of hits used by the tracker in making tracks, the number of tracks found, and the average track length (# hits/track) for that event.

A link is also provided for each event to a picture of all the hits (y vs z) and the leftover hits, for each combination.

At the bottom of the page is given the same table, but averaged over these 8 events.

Some things to note:

• The 2d hitfinder is run in mode 0 (which would be the "first pass"), and has therefore lower resolution than the 1d hitfinder in the y direction.
• I still have not taken special care of all the "hits" that show up at the bottom of the TPC, leading to a line of unused hits at the bottom. As is done in the 1d hitfinder, these should just be removed (someday). That will make the "% hits used" number look better for the 2d code, but not by much.
