Some Online Energy Resources
- US Energy InfoThis set of pages keeps
changing. For example, International Energy Outlook was just released
19 Sept 2011. It is at top of page (click left-most blue button).
Top blue label has three places: (1)Along bottom: Sources&Uses;
Topics; Geography; (2) Along top: Tools, Learn about Energy, News;
(3) Right bottom: Search engine with A-Z index.
There is more on the page. Currently the right hand column has:
(A) current prices for crude oil & natural gas; weekly coal procuction;
inventories for natural gas and crude oil. Units: bbl=barrels,
mm=millions(really?), Btu=British thermal unit, Bcf=billions cubic feet.
[Note: mm is usually millimeter, mcg is microgram (μg).]
(B) Outlooks: currently short-term, annual energy 92012), international
energy (2011)
(C)Learn about energy: explanations, in brief and FAQ.
