Set in modern day, Gaydar offers a slice of a trans man’s life. Nowadays, using a dating app is a big part of many queer people’s lives. Gaydar allows you to play out one of those experiences.
The narrative takes place almost entirely in dialogue. The speech is campy and fun, while also being realistic to what conversing digitally is like.
Like most dating simulators, Gaydar’s story is enthusiastically light-hearted and hopeful, but it is also, at times, serious. To be queer in this current climate is tough, and to be trans on a dating app can add an additional layer of anxiety to the tricky dating process.
