Elliptio waltoni (Wright, 1888)

St. Johns River, Seminole Co., FL - 79 mm

Type locality: Lake Woodruff, Volusia Co., Florida.

Range: Endemic to the St Johns River system, Florida.

Remarks: This species is rare in collections. Specimens from some populations, such as Durban Creek, may be quite glossy and rayed.
