XXXV Ohio State - Denison Mathematics Conference

Sponsored by the Mathematics Research Institute at The Ohio State University, Columbus; the Department of Mathematics at The Ohio State University, Columbus; the Center of Ring Theory and its Applications, Ohio University, Athens; and The Ohio State University at Lima.

The 35th Ohio State-Denison Mathematics Conference will be held from Friday, May 13 through Sunday, May 15, 2022 at The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, with sessions on Ring Theory. The conference was initiated by Professor Hans Zassenhaus in the early 60s and has a long tradition. We are pleased to announce that we are re-starting the Conference after an unwanted hiatus. We are hoping to have our conference in-person. At the same time, we have confirmed technical capability for remote participation and remote presenting, via Zoom. When registering for the conference, please select whether you plan on coming to Columbus, or participate online.

The Conference will be dedicated to Professor André Leroy (la faculté Jean Perrin à Lens, Université d'Artois, France) for his many contributions to Mathematics and to celebrate his retirement.

We are planning to have a banquet dinner on Saturday, May 14 Friday, May 13.

The deadline for abstract submission and free registration is April 25, 2022. The website will accept abstracts in TeX/LateX. Detailed program and submitted abstracts will be available online before the conference starts. Let the organizers know if you have any specific needs for your talk. Unfortunately, no funding is available to support conference participation. We will post further information on this webpage as it becomes available. We look forward to seeing you at the conference.
