XXXVI Ohio State - Denison Mathematics Conference

Sponsored by the Mathematics Research Institute at The Ohio State University, Columbus; the Department of Mathematics at The Ohio State University, Columbus; the Center of Ring Theory and its Applications, Ohio University, Athens; Ohio University, Lancaster; Ohio University, Zanesville; and The Ohio State University at Lima.

The 36th Ohio State-Denison Mathematics Conference will be held from Friday, May 10 through Sunday, May 12, 2024 at The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, with sessions on Ring Theory. The conference was initiated by Professor Hans Zassenhaus in the early 60s and has a long tradition. The conference has two options for participation: in-person as well as remote participation/presenting, via Zoom. When registering for the conference, please select whether you plan on coming to Columbus, or participate online.

The Conference will be dedicated to the memory of late Professor S. Tariq Rizvi, our long-time organizer, colleague, advisor, and friend.

We are planning to have a banquet dinner on Saturday, May 11.

The deadline for abstract submission and free registration is April 29, 2024. The website will accept abstracts in TeX/LateX. Detailed program and submitted abstracts will be available online before the conference starts. Let the organizers know if you have any specific needs for your talk. Unfortunately, no funding is available to support conference participation. We will post further information on this webpage as it becomes available. We look forward to seeing you at the conference.
