Parking
If you come with your car, and plan on parking on campus, the closest visitor parking is Tuttle Garage, at 2050 Tuttle Park Pl, Columbus, OH 43210 (point your GPS/smartphone to this address, or click here to get directions on Google Maps), and another option is Arps parking, at 1990 College Road - or the outside parking lot near Tuttle Garage. Hotels
Participants in the conference will need to make their own hotel reservations. This July, Columbus will host a number of events which are about the same time as the conference (e.g. an AC/DC concert), please make your reservations as soon as possible since there will be fewer and fewer vacancies.

Conference hotel: the SpringHill Suites, Columbus-OSU, which is located on the south-west side, near the Medical Campus. They offered a lower rate for conference participants, namely $189 + taxes and fees per
night, using this link.
Cut-off date for this rate is June 30th. The hotel is about 1.5 miles / 30 minutes walking; or 2.5 miles / 8 minutes driving from the conference site.

Another option, close to the conference hotel, about same distance to Math Department: the Hyatt House Columbus OSU. They also offered a lower rate, $199 + taxes and fees per night; click on this link to book online. Their cut-off date is also June 30th.

A shorter walking distance (0.5 miles) option: The Blackwell Inn (which is on-campus) (0.5 miles); there seems to be a Summer Sale event on hotels.com at this LINK, bringing the price to around $165 plus taxes and fees, try it out!

Transportation to campus can be handled using the complimentary hotel shuttle; or using local mass or personal transit (taxi, Uber/Lyft) (see below for more information); limited transportation from the conference hotel will be provided by the conference.

Airport transportation available, upon request and payment of a nominal fee (in past years it was about $30). This transportation must be arranged directly with the hotel. Additional complimentary shuttle service is available from 8:00am to 8:00pm within a 2-mile radius of the hotel, and to OSU campus, with a 24-hour prior request.
Local Transportation
Participants can use the local public transportation service, COTA (if you are familiar with OSU's location, you can find information on that site). Taxi service, as well as Uber and Lyft are also available in the city. For the hotels listed above on Olentangy River Road, line 1 will connect them to the University. We will provide maps and schedules at the conference; we will try to have some information on this page as well. The fare is $2.00 ($2.75 for express lines); most convenient way to pay would be via the Transit App, where you may deposit money; otherwise, you can still pay in cash, but remember to ask your Driver/Operator for a transfer pass when you board the bus.
