Forms for Pre-Registration and Dormitory Reservation

If you register at the Symposium site, the OSU dorms accept MasterCard and Visa for dorm room payment. The Symposium registration desk in 2017 McPherson Lab will also accept MasterCard and Visa for registration fees.

A NOTE FROM BECKY GREGORY 6/13/07: The OSU Dorm room situation has been solved.
We should be able to accommodate anyone who has registered and requested a dorm room.

Pre-registration is highly encouraged with a special rate for those prepaying on or before May 15, 2007. Payments or reservations received after June 8, 2007, will be processed as walk-ins. Cancellations must be received in writing by June 11, 2007.
Regular registration before May 15 = $100 - after May 15 = $125
Student registration before May 15 = $35 - after May 15 = $50

Dormitory Reservation - NOTE:

Submitting an abstract does not preregister you.
Pre-registration forms and dormitory reservation forms are available by FTP in PDF or Word format.

Click here to access a PDF (reader can be downloaded for Adobe Acrobat) of the registration form which can be printed directly from your browser. Please fill out the printed form and mail it to us with your payment. You can also fax the registration form to 614-292-1948. If you are paying by check, we can only accept checks in U.S. funds drawn on a U.S. bank. Anyone who finds this requirement impossible to fulfill should contact the Symposium office directly.

In an effort to make it easier to pre-register, especially for those with currency exchange problems, we have an arrangement with the Ohio State dorms. You will be able to charge your entire pre-registration (conference and dorm fee) to your Visa or MasterCard credit card. For those few not pre-registering, you will be able to charge your dorm accommodations on site. You can also charge your Symposium registration fee at the Symposium registration desk in McPherson Lab. We would encourage those for whom it does not represent a major inconvenience to continue to pay by check, as you realize that credit card use comes at a price to the Symposium.

If you would like accommodations on Saturday night, June 16, or if you prefer to stay at an area hotel instead of the OSU dorms call either the Holiday Inn on the Lane at 614-294-4848, The Blackwell at 614-247-4000 or University Plaza Hotel at 614-267-7461. Identify yourself as being with the Molecular Spectroscopy Symposium or "Molspect" to get the OSU discount. Room block will be released after May 1.

Refunds must be requested in writing by Monday, June 11. NOTE: Payments or reservations received after Friday, June 8 will be processed as walk-ins.

LIABILITY: The Symposium fees DO NOT include provisions for the insurance of participants against personal injuries, sickness, theft or property damage. Participants and companions are advised to take whatever insurance they consider necessary. Neither the Symposium organizing committee, its sponsors, nor individual committee members assume any responsibility for loss, injury, sickenss, or damages to persons or belongings, however caused. Persons wishing information on travel insurance while in the USA should contact private carriers.
