Finally I used .BVH data of running figure to create a looping sequence of a runner in Maya. The arms movement was changed to holding a gun.

Looping was attempted straight in Graph Editor, by creating same start and end point for each of the trajectories on each joint. All keys before or after specific frames were deleted. Values of beginning and end of each sequence were matched. Then Curves>PostInfinity>Cycle function was applied. The looping worked fine on first few cycles, but seemed to get artifacts on later cycles, shown in Figure 2 below.

Looping using Trax Editor worked fine. Manual matching of the beginning and end frames had to be kept because Blend function did not work properly producing joint flips shown in Figure 1 below.

Still want to try to match speed of fabric markers to speed of running clip playback.
